My name is Shane Richardson, and I’m the founder and owner of Go Wild Wilderness Adventures. After almost 10 years in the outdoor industry- and a lifetime spent camping, hiking and exploring the great outdoors, I started Go Wild with the idea of building the best guided-hiking company in the business, in addition to creating a business that employs the best people, that develops outdoor advocates through unique wilderness experiences, and operates as a community partner.
Go Wild is a boutique, family-owned outfitter, operating out of Estes Park CO. We are hyper-local, patronizing Estes Park businesses, and hiring Colorado-based guides. We give back to the community through local charities and associations, and we promote Estes Park and the surrounding area to our guests. Of course, the star of the show is Rocky Mountain National Park, and our team works closely with the Park to enhance the guest experience when they visit Colorado. Working with the Park and providing opportunities for hikers to enjoy our public spaces is a dream come true.
Through my personal experience, along with insight from wonderful mentors and colleagues, my time in the adventure-travel space has provided valuable lessons about the outdoors, about the guest experience, about navigating the ebbs and flows of adventure travel, and the type of business Go Wild strives to be.When you choose Go Wild, you are investing in a small, family-owned business with working class values, a company with experience in all facets of adventure travel, a company that cares about its staff, our community, and how we engage with, and travel through, our wilderness environment.
